Today's Featured Biography
Brittany Horn Connor
After high school, I went to Tulane University in the beautiful city of New Orleans. In 2000-2001, I jaunted off to Paris for a year at the Sorbonne only to return to the Big Easy for my senior year at Tulane. During college, my roommate introduced me to my wonderful future husband, who was fortunately locked away at West Point, and thus had little chance of realizing he could probably do better. I graduated in 2002 with degrees in French and History.
After graduation, we moved on to bigger things in Texas. I went to grad school at UT-Austin, and Jason went to Iraq. Like so many of our friends who have spent a glorious year in the sand and sun of Iraq, we eloped before he deployed and then celebrated his safe return with a wonderful fake wedding a year and a half later. While in Texas, I found my calling in teaching college French to an amazing bunch of students, and, in spite of a paycheck one could only describe as insulting, I LOVED it!
2007 brought the biggest changes when Jason left active duty for the civilian world. The deployments every other year were just too much, but we really miss all the great people we met in the army.
We're now in Iowa (of all places), and I'm still waiting to see if Kevin Costner and his gang of baseball legends pop out of one of the nearby corn fields. I am working in government as well as teaching at one of the local colleges here. Life is busy but fun!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
