Gwen Cohee Brown
Hello all - I think in my last bio I was waiting to sell my home in RI and move to Arizona. Well, ten years later, via Casper, I finally made it to Arizona. Bought a “twin home” in December and working on making it a place of my own. So happy to be away from the wind and freezing cold!!
I lost my job April 01, lost my little Mochi August 25 and decided it was time to head south. My little guy Charlie and I love it - except those nasty coyotes! No stairs, no snow . . .
Since Covid had kept us all pretty much close to home, I can’t say this past year has had lots of exciting news to share. Had a trip planned to Israel the 28 of March ‘20 but guess what? Thank you Covid! No trips planned until this planet heals I’m afraid.
Funny story though: I was at a stop light recently and the guy behind me was honking and waving, honking and waving and I said to myself, what a looney. As the light turned green the car behind me pulls into the left lane and look and behold, the license plate read KW78WYO!!! So naturally I had to catch up to say I was from Casper graduated in ‘70. So, the guy says, you graduated with my brother, Gary Houser. Oh my goodness what a small world we find ourselves in. Hello Gary Houser!!
I do have a friend from my church group who is wintering here. She was married to Ron DePaulo. It’s nice to know at least one person from afar yet so close.
All in all, I have been greatly blessed and wish the same for all of you.
May your days be filled with great joy, your hearts, be glad and your life be long lived. See you in July!!!
