Today's Featured Biography
Bonnie Richards Trapkus
Just like my parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents.....I never moved away from Casper. I continue to be grateful living in Wyoming.
Married twice, first time was soon out of high school to an NCHS boy for 17 years, we had two children and have remained friends. Second time is 31 years thus far, we've managed to accumulate lots and lots of misfit animals (36 at current count) - not sure which one of us is the crazy one - but we seem to be pretty well suited!
I find that I need to step outside the box about every 10 or so years and try something new. In 50 years, I've been a stay-at-home mom, a cub and girl scout leader, a receptionist/repair dispatcher at an office product company (I remember when they sold their first fax machine!), a garden center manager (drove my first tractor), a travel agent (took lots of nice trips), a pseudo cowgirl (got my first horse at age 55 but I don't ride), a 50+ year old college student (oldest in my class), and then a registered nurse for 15 years. I recently decided to take a break and just care for our aging "hobby farm", so currently I'm either unemployed or retired - I don't think I've decided.
I never made friends easily or lightly, and didn't really have a lot of them. But those friendships that I did make at Pineview, East, and Kelly Walsh are still valued friends today - how lucky I feel.
Hoping the Covid allows us all to meet again this summer, for some good laughs and making new memories.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
