In November of 1969 I met my future husband Gary (I was attending Simpson Bible College in San Francisco and Gary was in the Navy). We married in April of 1972 and moved across country to Gary’s home town in Connecticut. In 1974 our son Shawn was born. About 11 years later Gary’s job took us to Massachusetts where we stayed till 1993 when we moved to North Carolina so that Gary could attend Rockingham Community College for fine woodworking. During this time we remodeled our 3rd house; this house was originally an old school house built in the late 1800’s. Shawn moved down to North Carolina as well to pursue his career in coaching swimming – eventually taking the Director of Aquatics position at the YMCA in Asheboro, NC where he met his future wife Lori. They were married in 1999 and reside in Franklinville, NC. In 1998 Gary and I moved to Palm Bay, FL to be closer to Gary’s parents. After being hit in 2004 by 3 hurricanes in our area we headed back to NC in 2005 along with Gary’s parents. Needless to say there are no more moves left in us. We live in Bennett, NC – a town of about 500 people – there isn’t even a traffic light. Gary is caretaking for his parents are who 86 & 90 years old as well as building his woodworking business. I have been working since 1996 at Randolph Community College in the human resource department – I enjoy my job and am blessed to have a job. The joy of our life is our 2 ½ year old grand-daughter, Maci. She is active and loves swimming (she was in the pool at 3 months old), and dancing. She has the red, curly hair – this has to be the Irish in her. In the future I would love to take Maci to Belfast, Ireland where my Mom was born. I would have loved to have attended our 40th class reunion. It is hard to believe it was that long ago. Life has certainly been a journey for me since I left high school – there have been rough spots but God has always been good.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
