For the last 38 years, I have been working as a RN, baby nurse. I sure wish that I could retire like some of my classmates. Nursing does not really have a very profitable retirement program. I started out at Everett General Hospital and than moved on to Stevens special care nursery in Edmonds. One of the joys in my life has been taking care of my classmates babies and even grandchildren.
I lost my first husband to a logging accident in 1974. I was remarried but now I am single. It is very hard to replace your first love.
My daughter Emily, went to school in Germany. She has her Master's degree in Education and is teaching at Northshore Christian Academy. My son Matt is a carpenter in the greater Seattle area and loves to ride motorcycles. My other "child" Sunny gives me a lot of smiles and sunshine to my life. He is the one in the picture with me.
Traveling with friends and family fulfills my my need for adventure. Ireland is my next big adventure. Gotta visit those Irish relatives.
I look forward to catching up with my old friends and classmates.
