I STARTED ROBERT STEUR COLLEGE OF BEAUTY RIGHT AFTER HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION, ALONG WITH MY TWIN SISTER JANE. WE BOTH GRADUATED THE FOLLOWING SUMMER( 11 MONTHS LATER) AND WENT TO WORK IN A BEAUTY SALON IN BOUNTIFUL. (OUR FAMILY MOVED TO CENTERVILLE IN JANUARY OF 68 SO THATS WHY WE WORKED AT SALONS IN DAVIS COUNTY) AFTER A FEW MONTHS WE CHANGED TO ANOTHER SALON IN CENTERVILLE. I WORKED THERE UNTIL MY FIRST CHILD IN 1975.
I MET MY SWEETHEART THE FALL OF 1973 AND MARRIED HIM 3 MONTHS LATER, DEC 13TH IN THE SALT LAKE TEMPLE. WE HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPILY MARRIED FOR 35 YEARS,(THIS DEC.)
I HAD MY FIRST CHILD AMANDA, NOV. 1975
MY SECOND CHILD SUZETTE, CAME 3 YEARS LATER IN THE SAME MONTH IN 1978 AFTER 2 MISCARRIAGES WE FINALLY DECIDED THAT 2 CHILDREN WAS ALL WE WERE GOING TO HAVE.
I HAVE HAD MANY PART TIME JOBS WHILE RAISING MY KIDS, I DID HAIR IN MY HOME FOR NEIGHBORS FRIENDS AND FAMILY FOR SEVERAL YEARS. I WORKED FOR A DATA CO. CALLED INFORMATION RESCOURCES FOR 4 YEARS, H & R BLOCK FOR 4 YEARS AS A RECEPIONIST/OFFICE MANAGER, AND FOR A PRE-SCHOOL IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD FOR 2 YEARS, FOR MY HUSBAND'S EMPLOYER( CRAIG FISHER AND CO.) WHICH WAS A SMALL FOOD BROKERAGE, FOR 2 YEARS AS A MERCHANDISER, AND THEN MY HUSBAND AND I BOUGHT THAT CO. AND OWNED IT FOR 3 YEARS UNTIL A LARGE CO. BOUGHT US OUT. I NOW WORK 2 DAYS A WEEK TEACHING A 3 YEAR OLD CLASS AT APPLETREE PRE-SCHOOL.
SOME OF THE PLACES WE HAVE LIVED ARE; LAYTON(2YEARS) IDAHO FALLS(3 AND A HALF YEARS) TALORSVILLE(1 YEAR) BOISE(1YEAR) CALIF.( 1 YEAR) CENTERVILLE, LAYTON AND FINALLY KAYSVILLE, WHERE WE HAVE BEEN FOR 25 YEARS.
SOME OF MY HOBBIES AND FAVORITE THINGS TO DO ARE; READING, SEWING, QUILTING, SCRAPBOOKING AND CARD MAKING, GOLFING, TAKING RELIGION CLASSES, DECORATING, SHOPPING AND TRAVELING AND MY VERY FAVORITE THING TO DO IS GOING ON DATES WITH MY HUBBY AND SPENDING TIME WITH MY CHILDREN AND GRAND CHILDREN. MY OLDEST DAUGHTER HAS 3 BOYS(ZACHARY 7, MATTHEW 4 & TYLER 2) AND MY OTHER DAUGHTER HAS 1 GIRL( BROOKLYN 5,AND 1 BOY(DALLIN 8MO.) AND WE LOVE THEM ALL AND HAVE LOTS OF GREAT TIMES TOGETHER AS A FAMILY.
WE ARE VERY INVOLVED WITH CHURCH JOBS AND MANY OTHER ACTIVITIES AND HAVE A GREAT AND HAPPY AND FULFILLING LIFE.
