Jason Griffin
Hey guys...how you doin'? So...it's been a while huh. Hope everything is well whereever you may be. So what have I been up to all these years?
Let's see....after graduating from the Bluff in '97, I was in the US Coast Guard Academy for a little bit. Got out of that because I wasn't happy. After that, went to TAMU-CC for a BS in Computer Science. Aced that in 4 years, and after that, it was career mode for me.
I spent 4 years doing IT work for ExxonMobil Global Services Company in the Houston area. Then I got bored with that because I was doing stuff that I didn't want to do. Still...loved the company. Turns out that they had a software development position in South Jersey just outside of Philly. So now I work for ExxonMobil Research and Engineering as a programmer. Been in the east since April 2005, and so far I love it!
Computer geek by day, party rocker by night. I picked up DJing a few years ago while in Houston, and been in love with it ever since. I took it to a more serious level when I moved over to the east, since the club scene is much larger than that of Houston. I spin Trance/Progressive music (for those of you who don't know what that is, look up DJs/Producers like Markus Schulz, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Above & Beyond, etc.) with a bunch of talented DJs from =Level Recordings (which is our group). Been rocking crowds in Philly and Atlantic City, and pretty soon, NYC. I'm also producing my own stuff too in hopes for a record deal. Housing is mad expensive over here!
So anyway, yeah, I'm doing well after all these years. Still single, no kids, but loving every minute of it! I do think of Corpus once in a while, but then again, where I'm at right now, it's hard to want to come back!
