I read through all of the bios, and I was so pleased to hear how well everyone is doing. It seems like a million years have gone by since our FBHS days. Life has been quite wonderful, with some marked rough patches along the way to aide in my "growing stronger."
After graduation, I remained in Corpus Christi for a while to attend CCSU. While I was in college, I lived in Spain for six months, which was simply fabulous. I came back to FB, finished school, and began teaching at West Oso High School, where I taught English for six years. Then, I moved to Austin long enough to meet my husband. We moved together to the DC Metro area and were there for 9/11. It scared us to the core, so we moved back to Austin. We've been here since then - four years, and I am coming to terms with the fact that I am an Austinite. They've got no beach, but the shopping and dining is great.
We've been married for over three years and had our our first child, a daughter, in August. We named her Lane; we met at Kirby Lane, a restaurant in Austin, and borrowed from that.
I do not keep in touch with anyone very well; I don't like the telephone and I am horrid with e-mails. But I certainly welcome hearing from you!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
