Today's Featured Biography
Chris Maynord
Graduated from UT in 1968 with a Chemical Engineering degree. My short career with Eastman Kodak was ended by the Vietnam War with U.S. Army service from 1969-1972. During that time, I was able to complete an MBA at North Texas State University.
My subsequent career has been in agribusiness, and has included several overseas assignments including Nigeria(1984-1987); Russia(1998-2001); and, most recently, China(2011-2012). In December 2013 I completed a project in Mongolia, and am trying to hold off total retirement.
Connie and I enjoy travelling, during which she indulges my passion for golf. During my "golf trip of a lifetime" in June 2013 to Scotland, I played my 500th different course. I, in turn, support her acting and modeling career.
We live in the Nashville, TN area within 2-1/2 hours of 3 of our 4 children and my grandson and granddaughter.
