Married 1st husband in '64, had 2 children, became a widow in '67, went back to college attended 2 years. In '69, married Ludi and had 2 children. We moved to Albuquerque in '70. Two years later moved to California and we were transferred to Miami,FL and 1977 we returned to Artesia. I started working for the Head Start program in '78. I worked many positions and ended up becoming the assistant Head Start Director. I worked a total of 28 years and retired in 2006.
All our children are grown and are out of the house. Two of our kids live in E lPaso,TX and 2 live here in Artesia. We have 9 grandchildren. Our oldest grandchild is 25 and is getting married in August. We're very proud of our kids and grandchildren.
