Today's Featured Biography
Adam Scharff
Hello Everyone!
Wow, 20 years. The short version... I toured all over as a musician playing colleges, clubs and festivals with my brother Michael (the Scharff Brothers...then the Scharff Brothers band...then the Radio Junkies) until about 3 years ago...shortly after the birth of my youngest daughter Ariana. WE had an absolute blast!
While not on the road over the last 15 years, I have been teaching guitar, bass, songwriting, producing, recording out of my studio (Old School Studio) in Kittery. I am an extremely fortunate guy to have the great life I lead. My wife Val and I will be celebrating our 13th anniversary on May 7th (ironically I met her just before or 5th reunion) and have 3 wonderful children together. Cameron, who is 8, wake's up every morning to watch Sports center and lives Baseball. I have been having a blast helping to coach his team. Fiona, who is 6, is one of the funniest people I have ever been in the same room with. She is playing Baseball as well but also does dance and has started piano. Ariana who just turned 4 is playing T-Ball, doing dance and spring soccer and wakes me up most days @ around 6 by saying “Morning has begun Dad...coffee's done”
My oldest daughter Savvy (Savannah) is graduating 5th in her class from Marshwood this year. She did 3 years of Varsity soccer and was captain this year, had leads in all the plays, was president of student council and will be starting her Freshman year next fall at Colby College! And yes she is actually my daughter...I swear... she even looks like me. If the fact that one of your class mates daughter's is going to be a Freshman in college next year does not make you feel old...read it again!
I have had a lot of fun reading everyone's updates. I am going to try to make it this summer... but have a new overnight summer camp I am starting in Bethel, ME this year...so, it is up in the air at the moment. It is a cool camp call “Rockin” Road Trip” camp. I am not certain of the dates for the time being...but I am going to try!
So, “Hello” to all of you and a short thought and prayer to those who are no longer with us...
