Today's Featured Biography
Angela Crowley Collins
It's hard to believe that it has been 20 years! After graduating from Plymouth State College in 1991, I spent the first several years working as a Preschool Teacher in the Portsmouth area. After about five years in the industry, I realized that I was going to need to earn a bigger salary to better-support myself, so I moved into High-Tech Sales where I met my Husband Scott. Scott graduated from U.N.H. and worked several years for Cabletron, so coincidentally happened to know several of my high school friends. We were married in the Summer of '99, and settled in Dover.
I eventualy left the High-Tech industry, and moved into Financial Recruiting. I spent the next several years working as an Executive Recruiter at a firm in Portsmouth until the birth of my first child Adam. At that time I made the decision to be a full-time Stay-At-Home Mom, and it was the best decision I have ever made (although it sometimes makes me crazy!) We built a new home in Barrington in 2005, and our second son Christopher was born. It has been an amazing experience watching my two boys grow - they are now two and four, and are best buddies. We also have two Labs and a cat at home, so it's definitely not a quiet nor perfectly clean house - it's definitely "lived in!"
My parents still live in the same house on Middle Road in Portsmouth (which I now have finally grown to appreciate seeing that I live out in the boondocks,) and I still remain in touch with some of my high school friends on a regular basis- Pam Mullavey, Sarah Clarke, Chrissy Smith and Mike Routhier. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion, and reliving old high school memories :)
