|
Need email addresses!! |
|
|
Hello Classmates!
It's time for us to start thinking about our 50th Reunion!
With that in mind, we need your email addresses for the invitations and other information regarding our reunion. Be nice to save money on postage as well! We may not be young anymore, but this is 2015 and snail mail is so old school :) !
If you feel you must use snail mail, please make sure your snail mail address is correct!
Please check your profile here and add your email address.
Thank you for your understanding and support!

Today's Featured Biography
BJ Welch Plantamuro
After High School, I attended UNH for only one semester. The previous June, on our Baccaulauret night, I met my husband-to-be, David - as a blind date. We were married the following March, 1967, as he was about to be shipped out to Vietnam with the Marines (he was a Navy Corpsman). The following spring, 1968, David was home from Vietnam and our first son was born. My husband left the Navy and started working for Ma Bell. In the spring of 1972, our second son was born. We bought a home in Barrington, NH and everything went fairly smoothly in our lives. Life was good, and raising boys was fun. I didn't keep in touch too well with my high school friends, but ran into some of them at our twentieth (I think) reunion.
I've worked at UNH since 1973. I did "paperwork" for the people who ran the Student Union cafeteria. When I started working there, I wasn't much older than the students. I still work at UNH, and the students and professors seem to get younger and younger. Now I work in the Office of the Vice President and Provost as one of his three assistants.
My sons have given me 6 great grandchildren, 3 boys and 3 girls. Because of a few tragedies and family upsets, I am now raising two of the girls - one 11 and one 15 - quite different (noise and drama level is higher) from raising boys!
I actually do have outside interests of my own. For 18 years I have taken and worked on courses at Landmark Education, Inc., a company that creates transformational courses. I was a Course Supervisor for 8 years.
For 26 years, I have been a Mary Kay Consultant. It was great being in the fashion and make-up world. Most of that was done as I raised my two sons - it was my "girlie" outlet. Now, my granddaughters think it's great, so it looks like I'm in forever :)
My second husband, George (with me in the picture) has a great Harley Davidson classic touring bike. We love it, but don't get much time on it anymore - kids - sometimes they do cramp your style. I'm hoping when the Harley grows up it will become a convertable. Howeve, none of my arguments to that: I could drive it too, still wouldn't need a helmet, can carry more luggage on long trips, etc. - seem to be making any effect on George.
At least once a week, I study and practice Tai Chi. This is a new venture, but I already know it will last - I'd really like to master the art - actually it's key in helping my 60-year-old body not to freeze up like the Tin Man!
I love to read and am getting quite good at gardening.
I attended the 40th PHS Class Reunion in August of 2006. I hardly remembered or recognized anyone. Life is too full and interesting to not share it. Hopefully there will be more of us attending our 45th reunion. Maybe if we all fill in our own page on this website with a current picture and anything else you want to share - good, bad, ugly, silly, etc., we'll all recognize each other when we meet again. For those who don't go to reunions for whatever reason, it would be great to hear from you anyway.
If you know where some of our "missing" classmates are, give them this website and they can fill us in on their lives and whereabouts.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
