Today's Featured Biography
Debra Scott Tyson
Max and I still live in Dahlonega, Georgia, which is about 1 hour north of Atlanta. I am working part-time as an office manager for a female dentist - one of my best friends. It is the perfect job - flexible hours and great pay! (Not using my education from UNC or Georgia Tech but loving life!)
My oldest daughter, Jennifer, graduated from high school this year. (Thirty years after us!) She is going to Georgia Southern University and wants to be a physical therapist. Savannah is a sophomore in high school. She is a football and competition cheerleader and runs track. Lane is starting 6th grade this year - middle school. She plays volleyball and soccer.
It's been fun catching up with people via Facebook and hard to believe 30 years has gone by. I really loved high school! You people made it the best!
This will be my first trip back to Charlotte in probably 10 years. My dad remarried and moved away in 2000 and my mom died of lung cancer in 2004. My brother, David, (Class of 1983) lives in Atlanta with his wife, Karen.
Interesting story - I live in a small town and so does Mike Booker (EMHS Class of 1983). First of all, we didn't recognize each other and knew one another for several years before we made the connection. AND my Savannah and his son, Josh, are dating! Small world...
You guys made high school the best!
