Today's Featured Biography
June Fortess
45 years in New York City, 40 years with my husband Jerry Gerber, 37 years in the same apartment, 25 years in the same job (providing professional skills and management development training for folks who work in human services). Twins, Laurie and Jesse Gerber, a son-in-law and daughter-in-law, Will Craig and Chantelle Bradford and four delicious grandchildren, Radia 11, Lela 9, Jonah 5, and Phoebe 8 months, all live in New York! As for extra-curriculars: I’m an avid solo traveler. My favorite journeys: Japan, Galapagos, Sardinia and Greece, Costa Rica, Utah’s canyon lands, Bryce and Zion and Yellowstone (oh, wow!). Since the mid-90’s I’ve been collaging with various papers (working slowing on a book). An ordained interfaith minister, I’ve done a handful of weddings and commitment ceremonies. Very lucky and very happy.
