Well, first of all I don't know how I got invited to a 20 year class reunion because there is no way it has been 20 years.

But since I didn't major in math, I'll take your word for it.

So after graduating, I went to Jamestown College for a year. Totally homesick and didn't go back. Had no clue what I was doing, so I decided to go even farther away to see "the world." Was a nanny in Boston for 4 months, where I officially learned how to read a map. That was only after getting hopelessly lost way too many times.

After 4 months, I came back to Miles City and finished my Associates Degree at MCC. Then finished my Bachelor's in English Lit at MSU (now we have to add Bozeman to that title, I guess!) Even though I have the diploma, I honestly have a recurring nightmare that I'm back on campus and it varies between arriving the night before and not having lined up housing to having already registered but not having my books, and on and on. It's getting old. But I'm pretty sure I'm done.

So Brent (also from Miles City) and I got married in 96, and stayed in Bozeman. I worked at the Berg Law firm for almost exactly 9 months (?) and Hannah was born in 97. We moved back to Miles City.

Then we moved to Chicago. Go figure. He went to Trinity Evangelical Divinity School for a semester. Of course we didn't do the math till the semester was almost over, at which time we realized that there would be no way we'd ever be able to pay off that level of grad-school debt w/a professor's salary.

He got an entry level job in banking, and we stayed in Chicago, where Wesley was born 2 days before THE 9/11.

Looked into moving back to MT, but no jobs to be found. After 6 years in Chicago, we moved up to Wisconsin (half-way between Milwaukee and Chicago) and live in Kenosha. Joel and Ruthie were born here, so they are bona fide cheese heads.

Ruthie has Down syndrome, so we have entered a whole new dimension with her. Our life teeters between non-stop medical drama to no medical drama to utter boredom at times, quickly to be replaced by her escaping out the door and being half-way down the block. So our life is crazy, as is everyone else's.

Brent works for USBank and I'm self-employed working with a skincare company based out of Wisconsin.

I can't wait to see everyone this summer. Assuming that we all survive a 2 day car drive out to MT without poisoning our own kool-aid, we will be there!
