Today's Featured Biography
Stephen Goss
I left Miles City soon after graduating from Custer High. After receiving a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Valparaiso University, I spent most of my working career designing and building electrical power plants in Virginia, Michigan, Florida, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
My wife, Roxanne, and I currently live in the little resort town of Vermilion, Ohio, on the shore of Lake Erie. We have three lovely daughters, all of whom are Registered Nurses working in the health-care field. We are also the proud grandparents of two fantastic little boys.. We are fortunate that our children and grandchildren live close by. We love to babysit, but I must admit it is nice to be able to send the kids home with their parents after a long day of chasing them around. (How did we ever find the energy to raise our own children?)
After retiring from corporate America, Roxanne as an IT manager with Progressive Insurance and I as head of R&D for FirstEnergy Corp., we got into the alpaca business to keep busy. We currently own a small farm with about thirty animals(Roxanne is the boss and I am just the hired hand). Be sure to check out our website. I must admit that after 35 years of putting on a suit and tie every day I now enjoy getting my hands dirty.
Roxanne and I also love to travel, having recently returned from Kenya and Tanzania. While seeing exotic places is great, it makes me realize just how wonderful the United States is. It is too bad that many Americans, myself included, take this great country for granted.
Looking back on my life I now realize how much God has blessed me - not so much with worldly possessions, but more importantly with family, friends and health. My wife and I are now trying to return some of these blessings through volunteer activities, but Roxanne is much better at this than I am.
Speaking of blessings, one of the most important gifts of my life was the opportunity to grow up in a wonderful place like Miles City. The lessons I learned on the playgrounds and in the classrooms of this little town have served me well throughout my life.
I would love to hear from my old classmates.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
