Shawn got a job as an officer with the Bozeman Police Department in June & is headed to the academy in Helena tomorrow. He'll be gone for 3 months, but can come home on the weekends, which will be nice. In addition to our puppy chocolate lab, we also bought a house in June, and are enjoying finally being home owner's!

Let's see, quite a bit has happened since my last update, so here's the new scoop. Shawn made a career change a few months ago to law enforcement, and is currently a corrections officer at the jail here in Bozeman. He is hoping to get a job with the Sheriff's office or Police Department within the next few years. I am still working for Security Title Company, and continue to enjoy my job. On Friday we picked out our new puppy. She is a chocolate lab and we named her Kona. We can't pick her up for 2 more weeks, as she is only a month old right now. We are very excited about the new addition to our family. We are still trying to get into a house here in Bozeman, but the market is really tough right now, so we're hopeful something will come along before prices get out of reach. That's about it for now-hope everyone is having a great 2006!

Well Shawn and I tied the knot July 9th, and everything was darn near perfect. The wedding/reception was held at the Woodlands at Cottonwood Canyon, a place I would highly recommend to anyone getting married. We had about 300 people attend, including a lot of family and friends who traveled across the U.S. to help us celebrate. Our ring bearer, my 2 year old nephew Tucker, truly stole the show. He kept hitting himself in the head with the pillow, while loudly saying "OUCH!!" all throughout the ceremony. He brought some humor to the evening, which was much welcomed! We are taking our honeymoon in September and will be going to Kauai for a week, so we are really looking forward to that trip. In the meantime, I am still working for Security Title Company as an Escrow Officer, and Shawn is the Project Manager for a local multi-media company called Earthtalk Studios. We want to stay in Bozeman if we can, so we're hoping to find something afforfable in the housing market within the next year. Hope everyone is doing well!!

Hello class of '97. Since graduation, I attended MSU for a while, and decided school was not for me. I worked for Schnee's Sundance shoes for 3 years, then worked at Color World Printers as a sales assistant for 2 years. For the past year and a half I have been working for Security Title Company of Bozeman, in their escrow department. I was recently promoted to escrow officer, and couldn't be happier. I work with an awesome group of people, and the owners truly value their employees. My most important news, however, is that I became engaged 2 weeks ago to Shawn Toresdahl!! He was a few years behind us in school, but knew him from the golf team. We have been together for almost 3 years now, and plan to marry next summer. He's the light of my life & we enjoy every minute together. Well, that's it in a nutshell from my world. Hope you all are doing well, and feel free to email me if you get the urge. Take care!
