Upon graduation from BHS, I attended MSU for two years before transferring to Florida International University in Miami where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. While working with the Miami PD, I returned to FIU and earned my Master's degree. I met my wife, Caroline, in Miami in 1976 and shortly thereafter, I accepted a position at a police academy in the Detroit, MI area. We realized our blood was too thin for the cold weather and a year later we moved to Sacramento, CA.
While working in the savings and loan industry in Sacramento, I attended California State University, passed the CPA exam, and began working as a Certified Public Accountant. I worked in public accounting in California and Florida before working for an investment firm and later in the computer software industry. I traveled the nation extensively while implementing governmental financial enterprise systems and ultimately went to work with one of our customers until I retired in October 2016.
We are fortunate to have two great children - JohnPaul (36) who resides in Atlanta and Jennifer (32) who resides with her family in the Austin, TX area. We have two grandchildren, Luke (4) and Emma (2) who fondly refer to Caroline and I as Nonna and Gpa.
We moved to Texas after retiring and currently live on 20 acres in NE Texas. I keep busy with church and other activities, while also fishing in our pond from time to time. Our plan was to raise livestock as we had done in Florida, but we have discovered that we really enjoy traveling. Since raising livestock and traveling don't mix, we have chosen to remain free to travel whenever we want. We also regularly visit our grandchildren who we thoroughly enjoy.
We will be attending the 50th reunion this summer and hope to have an opportunity to visit with many of my fellow classmates.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
