Joseph Lewis

Hello readers! Since my lay-off and hospitalization at St. Lukes and return to Kansas City (Lee's Summit) I have declared myself in reitrement but have recieved my diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology to supplement my financials. I lived in Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX for nineteen years and worked as a Senior Business Executive at Sabre, developed by American Airlines and still the worlds largest CRS for airlines and travel agencies around the globe.
I was priviliged to receive flight benefits which allowed me to take "Dynasty" trips to, say, New York to meet up with friends for lunch or dinner. I've visited many more places than I ever dreamed I would and made friends across the globe. I am proud to have worked for such a progressive and supportive company for the bulk of my earning years.
Now days, I volunteer at St. Lukes East Hospital, in part to say thank you for their unbelievable care and life support to me while I was a patient for six weeks in Nov, 2008. I enjoy travels when I can and always enjoy meeting up with friends. I am contemplating a return to college to study Medical Coding and Billing, just need to get that first step out the door!
I hope to see many of you at our 40th reunion! I cannot believe it's been that long, I doubt anyone can. I miss our friends who have passed, all taken much too soon. It's a close reminder for each of us to keep in mind that we should enjoy and love the family and friends in our lives for there's no guarantee for tomorrow.
