Today's Featured Biography
Clark Neagle
After graduating from Lincoln I performed in the live shows at Valleyfair for 3 summers, attended UCLA (University Closest to the Lincoln Area/ Normandale College). Got a degree teaching Middle and High School Social Studies from the University of Minnesota and played in the football band every year of college. I studied broadcasting for a year at Brown after finishing at the U of M. I went on 3 different summer backpacking/rail trips through Europe while at the University and met a young french lady named Paola in a tiny little town in northeastern France in 1989 and married her the next year. We were happily together for 2 years but she became very homesick and culture shocked coming to the big city of Minneapolis after coming from her tiny little town in France, she really missed her family, and she was very shy to use her English and we always spoke French at home so she never had to learn English. Eventually I got so sad seeing her homesick all of the time that we remained friends and decided mutually to stay in our own countries and find someone there. She wanted me to move there with her, and if my French was much better, I'd had a european university degree, and I'd had more career experience after just finishing the university I may have actually moved there and sometimes wonder why I didn't. We kept in touch pretty well until she got married and had a couple of kids, then I just stayed out of the way so I wouldn't seem like I was budding into their lives. I lived in Bloomington until 1989 and in Minneapolis until 1992. Then moved to Des Moines when it still had a farm town kind of atmosphere but has changed much for the better now. So I left for Atlanta for more excitement for a couple of years, became homesick for the midwest and my whole family in Des Moines, so I moved back to the midwest, to Kansas City from 1995 until I moved to Des Moines where I am now working at Wells Fargo. Within 3 years I intend to move to Nashville and start a recording studio there. I'm not at all a country music fan but I'll probably end up recording some of that as well as many other genres, plus I plan on living within 10 or 15 minutes from the hometown of one of the best alternative rock bands in the past decade, Paramore, so I won't be doomed to just recording all country stuff but will appreciate working with all of the great musicians of many genres there.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
