Jeffrey King

I attended Golden Valley Lutheran College from 1970-72 and then entered the Air Force, serving at Loring AFB, Maine, and a temporary duty assignment at Andersen AFB Guam in Strategic Air Command as a Life Support Systems Specialist.
Graduated from Bethany College in Lindsborg, KS in 1980 (yes, 10 years after LHS) and married in 1979. I have a Masters in Divinity (MDiv) from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. Was ordained as a pastor in 1984 and have served parishes in Albuquerque NM; El Paso TX and Manlius IL, as well as several interim parishes. Divorced in 1990 and Susan and I were married in 1996. Worked at the Churchwide (national) office of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America for 10 years in Information Technology (1999-2010) and am currently serving as a part-time chaplain in a nursing home and as a part-time pastor in a small congregation in Chicago.
No kids, only three cats who allow us to reside with them.
