Today's Featured Biography
Jo Fischer Donovan
After graduating from the U, I immediately stepped into early retirement--I did it in my 20's. Moved to Vail, Colorado. I skied all winter and raced bicycles all summer for ten years. Then, one day I woke up and I was married and expecting my first child. WAIT. I have no mortgage, no 401K, no white picket fence. I gotta stop having fun and go home and get serious about life. So, now I'm not a ski bum anymore. I teach skiing at Hyland--it's a lot like Vail. I don't race bike anymore but I do do lots of club and charity rides--The MS 150 being my favorite. My kids are going to ride it next spring. The youngest will do it on a tandem with Dad. I got into therapeutic massage when I was racing bikes. I have been a massage therapist for over 20 years. I am owner/operator of Laughing Waters Healing Arts. Since I took early retirement, I plan on working til I die. By then, my 401K will have recovered.
