Waterford Township High School Memories:
Favorite Teacher Nicholas Menghini, Geometry and Liousbista Siagris, Latin; least favorite David Klinke for giving me a C's in chemistry but somehow I seemed to later connect in chemistry securing a world class chemistry education, academic career as a chemistry professor, professional employment as a chemistry business owner and chemical research scientist.
Favorite Class (s) all chemistry, physics, math and English Literature, least favorite biology
As I reflect on the past 55 years, I am especially grateful to Waterford Township public schools for helping to prepare me for a world class education for experimental research in nuclear chemistry and to function as a an experimental scientist in several interesting occupations, including studying chemistry with hundreds of my students.
Favorite memories of Waterford Township High School . At this time I cherish memory of several former classmates. On occasion I review the 1959 WTHS Waterlog with handwritten greetings or signatures by photographs. The trips down memory lane with friends around Elizabeth Lake, Stringham Elementary, Crary Junior High and WTHS never fail to add joy to an afternoon.
Most memorable or interesting thing that you remember happening at Waterford includes the many academic experiences in science to enable a proper perspective of the material world I live in now with great joy. A near fatal crash on a snowy curve on Cooley Lake Road, extraction of caffeine from tea leaves and the Senior Trip from Detroit to Chicago by boat, horse and train are prominent in memory. Oh yes, Absher, Karen Anderson, Terry Ball, Sara Bartnigham, Ralph Bergman, Larry Brown, Robert Campbell, Dee, Karen Dickman, Jane, Rick, Larry, Mike, Dick, Ron, Gyla, Sandy, Marti, Pa,t Lila, Juli, Milton, Judy, Morgan, Newman, Harry, Beverly, Penn, Beta, Mona, Gary, Annie, Onalee, Al, Carol VH Carol V, Roger, Dorthy, Lanny, Zilka, and Paula, Bud, Ruth Ann and and Wendy are fondly recalled.
Briefly share some experiences of the last 55 years, Again, it impossible to summarize 55 years on one page. I do not do Face book, Twitter, Face time, or Skype. But in the event any member of the WTHS class of 1959 care to correspond, we can work something out. As previously referenced I'm employed by The Work Less Company, I would gladly stay in touch with almost any person age 70 + with an interest or memory to share.
