Stephanie Boylan Stanley
My goodness, I had no idea my profile was so outdated. I'll try to catch up. I retired in May, 2013 from a very busy doctors office where I worked as Triage Nurse. I moved to Fletcher, NC, bought a little house, stayed there about 6 months and hurried back to Florida as fast as I could. I couldn't take that cold weather! I sold my home and all the furnishings last June.
My husband died a year ago last January so now I am rebuilding my life and starting over. Complete with buying all new furniture.
I live in a lovely apartment right next door to our new hospital. May come in handy one day but hopefully, not too soon. I'm still in Ormond Beach which is 1 hr 15 minutes from Orlando so if anyone gets down this way.....I'd love to see you.
I did have a horse but we had an accident which put me in ICU for 5 days so I sold the horse, realizing that at this age I shouldn't be taking such risks. I still miss him and am looking for something to do to fill that void.
My health is good for the most part and I'm doing well. I still sing in the choir at my church and I'm sober 31 years in AA so those things keep me busy. That's about it. I'll try to be more diligent on this sight in the future. My best wishes to all.
