Once I graduated from NHS in 1972, I moved to CA and married my first husband. I had a beautiful daughter in 1973 named Kylie Ann. I moved to Texas in 1975, went to work for the Sheriff's Dept., then on to a major trauma center where I stayed for 10 years. Since I worked in the ER, I became interested in being a medic, so off to school I went to become one. At the same time, I was accepted onto a federal medical response team where I served as the Deputy Commander for many years, and subsequently became the Commander. To make a long story short, I have 29 years in Emergency Medical Services as a medic and Educator. I worked a total of 14 years in an ER, and have 20+ years in the federal service working in disaster management. I am presently in Operations for a federal Incident Management Team that responds to disasters worldwide when requested. I presently work full time as a Clinical Education Coordinator/EMT Basic Program Manger/Site Manager for an EMS Training Academy near Austin, TX. I also work for Texas A&M as an Adjunct EMS Instructor. I loved being at Northwestern, and have often wondered where everyone is now. I love my God, my family, my country and my life...and, I love helping people..it is my lifelong passion.
