After joining the AF, was stationed at Clark AB, Philippines and began my career in Telephony. It was there I met and married Aurora, and had our 1st child Thomas. Transferred to Loring AFB, Maine and fathered Timothy, Andrews AFB and Susannah was born. Went back to Philippines, Keesler AFB, Mississippi, Patrick AFB, FL, Howard AFB, Panama, and retired with 21 years at Patrick where we settled in Satellite Beach. Worked in telephony for Harris Corp before going to Bell South/AT&T. Was laid off after 11 years by AT&T due to job cuts. Was notified last week of new job in Brevard County Schools technology department.
Bought a house in Melbourne, FL where hopefully I'll be settelled for good.
Thomas and his wife Melanie made us grandparents to Zachary (5), and Daniel (3).
I enjoy as much time at the beach (mostly Cocoa Beach) as I can, usually bodyboarding, swimming, and beachwalking.
Still active in the United Methodist Church, although never made it to ordained ministry. Not so much a "hick" anymore, but I do still pick up my banjo occasioally.
