After graduation and a brief stint at UEI, I entered the Air Force. The life wasn't too bad so I made a career out of it. Started out in Texas and then on to Colorado before arriving at my first duty station in Alexandria, Louisiana. Then got orders to Germany, but after arriving I got side tracked to Vietnam. When I left there, I returned to Germany to complete a tour there before returning to the states.
I was sent back to Alexandria, Louisiana where I got a quick temporary assignment to Las Vegas, Nevada and Fort Campbell, Kentucky. While stationed in Alexandria, I also met my wife and we were married before I received orders to return to Germany. When my time was up in Germany, I got orders for Victorville, California.
My next assignment from California was to Turkey. Finishing that, I was assigned to Tampa, Florida. While there, I again took a few quick temporary assignments to Las Vegas, Nevada but always came back to Tampa and my family. When they decided to close our operations in Tampa due to the "BRAC", I was given an option to move to Arizona or retire. After a little thought, I decided to hang it up and retire.
While stationed overseas, I had the opportunity to travel and visit other countries and places which included England, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland, and of course Germany, Vietnam, Turkey, and Thailand. I was also able to visit places in the states which included Boston, MA, New York City, NY, Charleston, SC, Orlando, FL, New Orleans, LA, Denver, CO, Bolder, CO, San Antonio, TX, San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA, San Diego, CA, and other neat places. Additionally, I've driven up the east coast, through the Smoky Mountains and coast to coast a few times. I can also say that I have circumnavigated the globe once in my life.
Unfortunately, the marriage didn't last but I did have three beautiful daughters. Since retirement, I went back and finished college getting my degree in computer applications, went to Washington DC where I visited the White House and the war memorials, coached three daughters through college. The two oldest daughters have married and just waiting when the youngest daughter decides on "mister right". I have been blessed with five grandchildren. At present I have three grandsons (Braxton) age 11, (Jackson) age 6, (Benjamin) age 2, and two granddaughters (Hailey) age 3,(Ema) age would have been 2 but she passed away a few hours after she was born.
Due to being stationed at various places around the world, I have never been able to return for any of the scheduled class reunions through the years though I have been back to the old stomping grounds on occasion to visit with my parents. I have often wondered what became of everyone and of all the dreams we had when we graduated.
As for my life now, I take just one day at a time and am thankful for every one of them. I enjoy the time I get to spend with my girls and grandchildren. I really hope and pray that I will be able to make one of the reunions some time as it seems that the more the years pass, the more classmates seem to be passing on too. My prayers go out each one of them who has passed and to all still here among the living.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
