Klaus Viljanmaa
Is it only 20 years??? You all look so different!!! Really, not. I hope you
all are well and doing great.
After my high school year in the USA, I finished high school and other
Studies in Finland. In 1994 I started my working career at our family company, Jalas, as QM. I became the Vice President in 2000 and President/CEO in 2004. Last August, my family and I sold the majority of the shares of our 92 year old family company to our Swedish customers.
I got married to Traci Hutchings on Valentine's Day, 2008. For some (most of you)
It might come as a surprise that we did date at that time I was there. I never got over
her. So, I had to come back and take what was mine two years ago!
Along with getting Traci, I now have two beautiful stepdaughters, Taylor 12, & Drew 8, the boys (wiener dogs) and Chip, (a box turtle). We moved to Wichita at Christmas in 2007.
As today and until spring 2011, I am working as Strategic Advisor, and Chairman
Of the Board for the company and traveling between Finland and home here in Wichita.
I look forward to seeing you all at the reunion!
