Hi everyone. It is hard to believe it has been 20 years. Even more unbelievable is the fact that my sister, Rebecca, is going to marry Nick Cody's son David next summer. Who would have thought I'd be related to Mr. Cody through marriage after 20 years? Some of my most vivid & "memorable" memories from high school are of typing class with many of you and Mr. Cody.
Anyhow, after high school graduation, I went to the University of Kansas and graduated in 1992 with degrees in Business Administration and German. I worked for a year in a trust department in Kansas City KS and then got married in 1993 to my best friend, Brian. We moved to Tulsa in 1994 and have pretty much stayed in the area ever since. Until my second daughter Kristen was born in 1999, I prepared estate & probate accountings for a bank trust department. Once Kristen was born, I needed to stay home so I started working out of my home. I also taught accounting at a local business college. Now I work 100% of the time out of my home as an accountant for our family business. The rest of my time is spent shuttling my kids around town. Kayla is going to be 12 and started 6th grade middle school. Kristen is 9 and just started 3rd grade. Both of them swim on a competitive swim team and are absolutely beautiful swimmers. Kristen also continues to play basketball and Brian coaches her team. My little miracle, Nathan, was born in 2005 and he is pretty much into everything. He believes he has many superpowers, talks to super heroes, and has dinosaur friends that help him when he gets into trouble.
It's been an amazing 20 years and I'm truly blessed with a wonderful family and friends. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend.
