Since I last saw everyone (1998 reunion) I managed to graduate college. I guess I must of liked college since I spent seven years there. I went through four majors (Metallurgical Engineering, Telecommunications, Electro-Acoustics, and finally graduated in Electrical Engineering). I attended three Universities - U of I, San Jose State U, BSU, and finished up at U of I.
At 22 years old I managed to live on the beach in San Diego for a year, quite a change for a small town boy. It made me appreciate the low crime rate of home. I must admit there were a few nice things: the weather, body surfing, and beach parties.
After graduating from U of I, I got a job at Maxim Integrated Products where I work, to this day. I am an applications engineer for our high-frequency optoelectronic product line. This January I was able to go to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. It was quite an experience for a gadget lover like me.
In 2001 I got married to Pamela Pidgeon, a close friend of Robert Dobson's wife Joy. We have two children, Meg (5yr), and Chase (2yr). We live in Beaverton Oregon, a suburb of Portland, and hope to move to Boise to be closer to family and friends (if I can find a job). We try to visit the Oregon beach as much as possible - since we live so near.
I'm really looking forward to catching up with old school mates and hope to see everyone in McCall!
