Today's Featured Biography
Kelley Leedy Branstetter
Well, it's been a long time! After living in New Meadows for over 13 years, we finally moved out! We now live in Weiser, and loving it! I am definatly NOT a cold weather person!!
I am a stay at home mom and will be until our youngest (31/2) attends school. While at home I have put to use what my favorite MD teacher (Mrs. Duel) taught me. I design and sell childrens clothing, quilts and my line of purses on e-bay.
My husband, whom I've been married to for 19 years, works for Masco out of Boise. He is a crew boss and has spent over 5 months in McCall and will continue to work up there for another year. His crew has done most of the work at Whitetail.
Kayla (18) is a senior this year and is looking forward to graduation next month. She has been accepted into Washington State University and received a $27,000 scholarship (that will pay for one year). She is planning on entering pre-med and would like to be a doctor. She (we) will be headed to New York a week after graduation as her modeling agent is taking her to all of the top modeling agencies to market her, maybe college will come later, we'll see! While in school she has been active in volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, softball and choir.
Kenneth (16) is a soph. this year and has been active in marching band, played jv/varsity football, basketball and is currently golfing on the varsity team this year. He's hoping for a golf scholarship in a couple of years and is currently interested in girls!
Kali (31/2) was our surprise addition when we moved to Weiser and what a joy she has been to everyone! She absolutely adores her "sissy" and "bubba"! She is Weiser's biggest cheerleader- she was 3 days old when she attended her first football game and hasn't stopped since! She loves all sporting events! Kali currently is the youngest clogger here in Weiser and will be performing at the annual Weisers Old Time Fiddling Contest in June!
With our busy lives, we don't get away much, but did happen to surprise Kayla with an early birthday/graduation party to see the Dallas Cowboys! What fun!
I'm still not sure if we will make it to the reunion, but if we don't- HAVE A GREAT TIME!
