After high school I went to the University of Idaho and ISU. I taught school for 33 years mostly in Blackfoot
I was married to Gary Lim and was able to have two sons we have four grandchildren three boys and one girl
During the years I developed a fondness for painting and crafts. My fellow teacher Vicki would do the music and I did the arts and crafts with the fourth graders. Several years I wrote grants for visiting artists to come to Blackfoot. I learn to water paint and make clay mess. I ventured off and did oil and acrylic painting then I started doing cards with several of my teacher friends.
I was part of a computer grant with my partners being Debra Romrell, Dennis Parker, Theda Torgeson, and several others From Blackfoot. We got to travel to several cities such as San Diego, New Jersey, Chicago, and San Antonio. Sometimes we would go earlier and sometimes we go later to see the adventures of the city.
Gary and I separated and I met a new group of friends Mary Spinner Edna Garrett and I ventured off on several cruises to Europe. My sons families would take me camping to several camping Outings.
Several years ago I developed water on my brain. I spent about a year at Shane’s house in Boise. Then I have moved to Morning Star senior living. I have been there for about six years and enjoy all the things we got to do outing,shopping, theaters,restaurants and then Covid came. Now we have passed That and are back to playing our games and going on outings.
