In 2006, we built our dream home in Island Park Idaho. After several years working for others, my husband and I owned and operated a lawn care service in the area. I also had an opportunity to manage cabin rentals at The Pines in Island Park. Loving every minute of our life in Island Park came to an end in 2016 due to health issues. We sold our dream home and found a quiet neighborhood in Mesquite Nevada. We bought land, designed and built our new home in 2017 and reside here today. We both are still retired and decided to do some traveling. In 2018 we headed out in our RV to visit Canada and our Canadian friends during the hottest months in Nevada. Our trip was eight weeks of traveling and site seeing. We entered the Canadian border from northern Montana. Our travels took us East across Canada and leaving Canada and entering the US at the Minnesota border. Our venture then took us into Wisconsin to visit family. Heading home we visited Sturgis, S. Dakato (WOW! unfortunately it was during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally), In N. Dakato, Mt Rushmore, Black Hills, Badlands and Devils Tower (awesome). Stopped and visited friends in Cheyenne and Riverton, Wyoming and coming home through the Grand Tetons and into Jackson Hole Wyoming. The next year (2019) we took our RV and traveled through all the National Parks and State Parks in Utah. Our travels took us to Zion, Bryce, Arches, and Capital Reef, Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, and Moab (jeep country). We found the most beautiful reservoir called Strawberry Reservoir outside of Heber City Ut. On the way to Idaho we stopped in Park City Utah coming through Salt Lake City to Blackfoot to visit family and friends. In June 2020 our trip took us to Blackfoot Idaho for the summer. We traveled to different areas to camp including Mackay, Challis, Salmon and Sun Valley. Our Idaho 2020 trip didn't turn out as good as our other trips. We lost a dear friend of 40+ years to cancer and my husband caught COVID-19. He was hospitalized for nearly a month in Idaho. Barely making it home he took a turn for the worst and reentered St. George Utah Hospital. Complications have lingered on and were not sure if our traveling days are over. God willing, we'll be back on the road with our RV this summer. Hope to see everyone in July.
Update: On May 27, 2022 I lost my husband to a lung disease that he has been battling for years. I will be traveling solo to Idaho this summer hopefully will be there by reunion time. Hope to see every one then.
Update: April 4, 2024 Finally made it back home to Idaho. Bought a 3000 sq foot home in Ammon Idaho. Idaho has always been my home and with the passing of my husband, NV was long distance from my kids. It took me a few months to sell my home in NV but God had a plan and here I am. Trying to get settled emptying boxes and finding a place for them. Oh how I have accumulated a lot of stuff. Yes stuff. More than one trip to the thrift store hoping that someone will appreciate it more than me. I hope to make contact with my classmates that I graduated with. Time is so short and friendship is so important. Hope to here from you all. Happy Summer to everyone!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
