Sondra (Sandee) Joyce

Hi class of 70! I guess this is the update page, where have you been the last 40 years so here goes.
I left Northglenn and went to CSU and ended up living in Fort Collins most of the next 30 years. I was a social worker who burnt out after 2 years of working with abused children, loved the new wholistic health field, became a massage therapist (the first in Ft Collins) opened up the first spa, Joyce Associates Therapeutic Massage Clinic. My life revolved around healing, spirtuality, public speaking, and I was fortunate to be able to travel internationally as a speaker for the Whole Health Institute.
In 1994 I sold my business, went to graduate school majoring in systems psychology. I worked mostly with team building with small business owners, and taught PAIRS a course for couples on communication. Doing everything backwards, I became pregnant at age 45, moved to Durango in 2000, became a realtor, opened up REJOYCE REAL ESTATE CO recently got married to Paul Nazaryk who grew up right by us and went to Highland High School, though we met because my brother Daves son, Tyler Joyce, played football for the Montana Grizzlies where Paul lived at the time. One wild life, huh?
We live between Durango and Bayfield at Heartwood Cohousing www.heartwoodcohousing.com, an intentional rural community with 250 acres, a greenhouse, chickens, organic farm, hiking and biking trails and a common house with guest rooms, you all are invited to come visit!
My family still lives primarily in Northglenn, Mom off 104th, one sister and two brothers close by.
Unfortunately, 5 years ago my sister Linda, 2 years behind us, died of cancer and three weeks after, my brother Dave whom most of you know from the class of '69, was killed in a tragic car accident by Windy Point. That took a long time to get over. both of them had hundreds of people at their funerals.
I do so look forward to seeing everyone, and my deep thanks for each one who is putting time and energy into making this happen, it should be a blast!
I plan on coming Friday night on my own, are people bringing spouses on Saturday?
