Today's Featured Biography
Veronica Wilson Seagren
Frank and I have been married for 38 years as of July 25. Our oldest son, Frank, is in the Air Force, stationed in Great Falls, MT at the moment. He has three daughters, ages 6, 8, and 10. Thomas spent a year in the seminary before deciding the priesthood was not his calling. Eric goes to Front Range Community College and keeps changing his major.
After finally earning a B.A. in Geology in 1979, I worked for seven years for Phillips Petroleum, and since then, I've done a wide variety of stuff--everything from store clerk to photographer.
Frank retired last year after 34 years with Johns-Manville, and we've been doing way too much traveling--everything from in-state camping trips to a "Sound of Music" tour through Austria and Germany last November. I also like to chase eclipses, and we've been to two, so far--Puerto Vallarta in '91 and Austria in '99. We're hoping to make Tahiti in 2010, but if not, there's one going across Wyoming in 2017.
My latest, biggest news is the publication of my first novel, just last April. It's called Seventh Daughter, published by Flying Pen Press, and it's available at Tattered Cover locally. It can be ordered online at Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, and Borders. Previously, I'd had two novelettes published in a couple of science fiction anthologies.
