Today's Featured Biography
Tim Wilson
After graduation, I went to Rockmont College, a little Bible College in Lakewood, Colorado. My mom would only give me money if I attended a Christian College but she couldn't afford Bethel College in Kansas where I could have gotten courses to become an architect so I decided to work towards becoming a teacher. I transferred to UNC in Greeley, lost credits from Bible courses, lost my II-S status, got a low number in the lottery, decided to join the Navy. Went to ETA school on Treasure Island, was on the Coral Sea ("San Francisco's Own" aircraft carrier) for about 2 months until the Nuclear Power school opened up on Mare Island, went to prototype for nuclear powered aircraft carriers in Black Hawk, Idaho but managed to get assigned to the USS Ulysses S. Grant SSBN 631, a boomer, missile carrier submarine. Became a reactor operator, got out in 1977, went back to Rockmont to graduate, met my wife in 1980. Had a job as radio operator at KQXI but got fired at the same time we had bought a house and got married. Went to work at Spectradyne then went into computers, worked at ComputerLand until they went out of business. Tried to get into desktop publishing and technical illustrating but that fell through, worked temporaries until Ontime Depot Repair until that went under, worked at Mountain Electronics Recycling until that went under. Part time work as an instructor at Parks College until it became Everest College. Still working there part time as instructor but also "handy-man". (Computer Department was phased out when it became Everest). Rest of the time is working trying to fix up our house.

Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
