I received my mini yearbook today and I just love it, it’s beautiful. I have sat here looking at it and can’t get over how the color is and the pictures so brilliant. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I am.
I don’t know how to print this to everyone but would love for them to know about how it is and how I feel.
Best Wishes and Enjoy,
Jo Anne Richardson Conley

Hello, everyone...
The mini yearbook is great! Love the photos, color, collage arrangement and all the people having a good time!
Please thank the photographer and his assistant for putting out such a special book.
Since I couldn't open Joann's letter, I'll check it out on the class website. Thank you Paul.

After graduation I spent the next few months singing with the Viscaynes. During that period of time we did several personal appearances, and TV shows. We also recorded four records, one being "Yellow Moon". Fortunately that song made the top twenty.(I've since found out that "Yellow Moon" is a Doo Whop collectors item. So check your old forty-fives you could be in posession of some real "California Gold"!) I left the group due to a contract dispute and turned towards bigger and better things.(So I thought)
Dallas Rountree and Gary Basque talked me into joining the service with them. We decided on the United States Air Force and joined under the "Buddy Plan". San Antonio, Texas was where we did our basic training. After basic training I didn't see Dallas again until we both got early outs to go back to Vallejo Junior College in 1965. I got hurt playing football and after a good amount of recovery time I got a job at Kaiser Steel.
While at Kaiser Steel I got a call from John Veneterie asking me to fill in for his lead singer Gary Stamper. They were playing at the infamous Coronado Inn and Gary was having some throat trouble and had to rest his voice for it to clear up. So, I joined "Johnny and the Renegades". I left Johnny's band in Sacramento joining a band from Michigan that quadrupled my income. They were based out of Los Angeles. For the next twenty-five years music was my lust for life. Playing numerous clubs in the United States and Canada, TV shows and specials, recording, writing and doing a lot of demo work.
Along the way I worked in the direct mail marketing business, printing business and ended up teaching martial arts in North Hollywood for five years. I achieved a 5th degree black belt in the art of Kung Fu San Soo.
Now I reside in Palm Springs, California with my wife Victoria and son Cooper. Cooper is a sophmore in high school and a budding rock guitarist. Victoria is a manager of a company that builds shopping centers.
I really enjoyed the forty-fifth year
class reunion. I hadn't seen some of my class mates since graduation night and it was such a pleasure seeing them again. I'm looking forward to the 50th reunion. I hope to see all my Apache brother's and sister's there.
LIFE'S BLESSINGS TO ALL! ..................
Since my last entry I moved to Las Vegas, NV for three years and finally retired in Payson, AZ. Enjoying the high desert and all it brings, mostly the cooler weather.
