Jeremiah Bethly
Hello to all my classmates, it’s been a long time since I have seen or spoken to most of you, Some of you may remember me as Jeremiah others my remember “Bullfrog” given to me by Lola Spicer. Yes I haven’t been called that since.
Well after high school, I joined the Marines and except for a one year stint oversees (Okinawa) Japan I have been living in California for almost 30 years.
After the Marines I stayed in San Diego, went to work for a West Coast Drug store chain, and stayed with them for 14 years as security agent-Security Senior Manager, I eventually married and became a dad, after my only child La Shawnna was born in 1986. I have remained in the same field of work my entire career. In my late 30’s I decided to peruse a long time dream of getting into radio broadcasting as a radio DJ, I have worked for several R&B radio stations as the night time voice aka Barry “Mellow” James.
In 2001 I remarried for a second time to the love of my life Yolanda; between us we have 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren. My wife and I love music and to being able travel, and just to being home alone, as grown folks. we currently live in smaller city called Elk Grove which is just outside of Sacramento, CA
