Today's Featured Biography
Franklin Ellis
I'm starting to get the hang of middle age at 47 1/2 years old,only to see it constantly changing with a number of surprises-mostly good. I enjoy time spent with my wife Natalie(16+ years) and my three children Antoinette,Stephen and Jaden-all very different personalities. I have a special fondness of my church family,being a preachers kid,I returned to some of my early values and upbringing. I'm active as part of the leadership team of Emmanuel Baptist-the largest african-american church in the Bay Area. On work,after 25 years of seeking progress sales assignment(numerous region management assignments in North America-Director NA,Asia & Europe and two VP's roles-with several public and private companies)-I did the unthinkable recently. I walked away to take a simpler assignment that would keep me at home more and limit my travel within the US and Asia-I'm blessed and will enjoy it while it lasts. Lastly,I'm starting to appreciate my siblings as they get older,my children ,solid friendships and community service within the Bay Area.
