Today's Featured Biography
Brandy Smith Owen
Directly after graduation I left for the Navy. Spent 4.5 years as an aircraft mechanic,traveling the US and to Australia. Spent 2 years in Hawaii where I met my husband of 15 years. He was raised a cowboy, ranching and farming and now works for Raytheon missile systems, and is in the air national guard in Tucson.
We moved to a Southern Arizona small town, my husband's home, where I then went to nursing school. I love my job as a rural home health nurse, have been in it for 10 years now.
I have 2 awesome boys, 12 and 9, am a soccer coach, little league baseball mom, and webolos scout leader. We attend a small, but growing, local Church of Christ. We do 4H and have 2 pigs and 3 goats currently. Past animals include sheep, steer, chickens, and turkeys. What a change from city life.
I enjoy bargain shopping, working out, and playing women's league softball each summer,even though it is quite warm.
I visit Spokane almost every summer, spending most of our time at my favorite place on earth, on the Pend O'reille river where my Dad lives. I enjoy water skiing, swimming, fishing and kayaking, and teaching my boys the same while we are there.
Can't wait for the reunion!
