I love living in North Carolina. We are here because my husband manufactures furniture. After high school, I went to Meredith College (1988-1990, Child Development). I got married in 1990 to an NC State grad. Moved to PA for a furniture job, and I went to Penn State University (Spring 1991, Child Development). Moved to Baltimore, MD in June of '91 for a better furniture job, and I went to Towson State (1991-1993, Health Science). Moved back to NC for a great furniture job, and I graduated from UNC-Greensboro (1993-1994) with a BS in Public Health Education. It took me five and a half years, but I did it! I worked for the county health department as a health educator. Then I took a job with Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem as a health educator for a cancer project. I quit in 1996 to start a family. Our first baby, Eddie, was born with a heart defect and died after heart surgery at four and a half months old. He was so precious, and we are so thankful to have had him as long as we did. Anna came along in 1998, and David followed in 2000. (Three babies in three years!) Anna and David are healthy and beautiful and waaaay smart. They think they're smarter than I am (and I tell them, "At least I know more than you do!"). But they also think I'm pretty and I make great spaghetti! Lately I have been working on a book with the co-founder of Family Life Ministries. Not sure when it will be in stores. When I was in high school, I was a new Christian. I am still strong in the faith and so thankful for the grace and mercy afforded me by my Savior's death on the Cross. Can't wait to catch up with everyone at the reunion!
