Let's see. After Monacan, I attended JMU and graduated in 1991 with a Bachelors in French & Education, spending the summers in Nags Head. I taught in Baltimore for six years before moving to the Outer Banks. I spent three years living there, working and teaching, and eventually ended up spending the winters living in Thailand and traveling in SE Asia & Europe.
Soon after that (and 7 years ago), I ended up moving to Frisco, Colorado where I live currently. It's a quaint, beautiful mountain town (b/t Breckenridge and Vail) with a tight-knit community. I taught for one year here before I joined my husband's company, Colorado Bike & Ski Tours. We started off as a backcountry guide service (rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing, etc.) and have since expanded to doing outdooor experiential adventures for corporate groups throughout Colorado. I am the Lead Facilitator for our corporate programs, in addition to the less exciting office managing, etc. We're actually starting to do more business out of state, which is quite fun. Oh, and we also put on a 24 hour mountain bike race, check it out at www.montezumasrevenge.com - it's absolutely insane.
In the off-season, we do alot of traveling...usually bike touring in the States or some adventures abroad, mostly SE Easia. We actually got engaged at Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, Cambodia. My husband, Byron, used to manage Egypt (remember them?) and is from the DC area, so we do get back to Richmond a few times a year.
We were married in 2002 and had a daughter, Koyana Mai, in 2004. She's a delight and it's been an honor to have her in our lives. I actually just speak French to her, so she's singing songs and asking questions in French and uses her French vocabulary all the time...which is pretty cool.
Lots of crazy details for those spaces in between, but too many for this space. I would love to hear from folks.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
