Today's Featured Biography
Ronald Abbott
I have lived in Provo, Orem, American Fork and now in Pleasant Grove. I was married to Lynda Daras for 10 years, then we divorced. I have been married to Sue Ann Nelson for over 30 years. She grew up in Logan and attended Logan High. She also attended Utah State University. She was living in Salt Lake when I met her, and I "stole" her away from the city and persuaded her to marry me. We don't have children of our own, but I have three children from my previous marriage. I worked at the "Trade Tech" as a custodian for ten years, then I worked as a cook and head baker at the Utah State Developmental Center for 25 years, till I retired in 2000. I took a medical retirement, since I had to have two hip replacements. I didn't go back to work, mainly because the administration did away with my job, and they closed up the main kitchen and cafeteria. Sue worked up there for nearly 32 years as a secretary. She retired in 2012. We have enjoyed traveling, particularly going on cruises. We have also visited my children in North Carolina, Texas and South Carolina. Stephanie lives in North Carolina; Stephen and Rose live in Texas and David and Laurie live in Virginia. I have eleven grandchildren. I have endured heart problems since I was young, and I underwent open heart surgery in 2008 for a valve replacement, and I have worn a pacemaker in the past, and currently I wear a defibrillator. Also I've developed arthritis in my back and my balance is not good. That's due to advancing age which is not fun, plus I have to wear hearing aids. I'm grateful to Sue for helping me. I have enjoyed the reunions we have had. Sue has enjoyed them too. I would like to thank Janet Calder for all of her work to ensure that we have fun reunions.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
