Shala Robertson Folkman

Hello friends! To catch you up on my life since high school, here's a short bio. In the fall of '03, I started school at Brigham Young University (the best school in the land) and loved it there from the beginning. I kept running into this guy from Brigham City, who I'd gone on one date with, and after "studying" for some hard classes together, Adam Folkman, the love of my life, popped the question and we were married in Jan of '04! In March we found out we were expecting our first child. (Can you believe that it was planned and not a surprise; were we crazy!?) Abigail Dawn Folkman was born in Nov of 2004. I cotinued school with a baby and graduated in December of 2006 with a Bachelors in Geology.

I randomly took a geology class for a general and quickly fell in love with the science and study of the world around us and especially rocks. Geology was the second love I gained while at BYU. It's really a multi-faceted discipline with so many applications in today's world. What can I say, I'm obsessed. If anyone has questions or needs help with a geology class, CALL ME!

After Adam and I graduated, we bought a townhome in Spanish Fork, UT and are loving being settled in a nice place. Adam works as a project manager for a custom home builder in Orem and I am blessed to be able to stay home with our children. We had our second child, Robert Grant, in March of 2007 and are hoping to have another kid in the near future! Life has truly been good. I'm so glad for the associations I had with all of you in High School, and hope your lives are full of happiness as well!
