Today's Featured Biography
George Brandle
Somehow (luck?), Betty married me, and she still puts up with me. All you folks from Trojan-land know me well -- how did I get this lucky? Since Betty wrote her profile: the two oldest girls are now married (first grandkid just arrived -- very cool!); oldest boy is coming back from Korea to attend law school; youngest girl has graduated U of WA; and our youngest son is actually studying engineering (first kid in a tech field - finally a nerd like me).
People ask why I don't move somewhere warmer where I don't have to shovel snow. I tell them I like 4 seasons, snow is fun, there are almost no bugs, and it's a great place to live. And, since I grew up where it was really hot and humid, with lots of skeeters & roaches, I know what I'm talking about.
Work is OK, but not anything as good as the old HP jobs I had. the "nirvana" job is gone, but I'm still looking to replace it.
