Today's Featured Biography
John Miller
After returning from the U.S. Army where I served as an armor intelligence specialist for the 3rd Armor Division (1967-1969), I worked at the Kingsville-Bishop Record-News as Advertising Manager.
Later, I worked for American Express as a Securities and Commodities Broker in the Corpus Christi Branch Office.
A brief, but satisfying career took me across the country as a corporate commercial pilot, flying cabin-class aircraft for executives of several oil services companies in South Texas.
After that, I used my computer science degree from Texas A&M Corpus Christi to land a job as a Systems Analyst, Senior Programmer and Data Modeler at Agencies within the state of Texas, where I retired.
My latest career has been that of a Certified Teacher, helping high school students understand the importance of computer science, game design and programming, Aircraft Technology, and C.S. independent studies.
I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.
