After finally graduating from high school I went on a swimming and diving
scholarship to the University of Corpus, stayed a year then enrolled in
A&I. I worked while attending college and graduated with a BBA in 1966.
Ater graduation, I went to work for American Smelting and Refining Company
as an Assistant Human Resources Manager. Three years later I was
recruited by ARCO Chemicals as an HR Manager for a new chemical plant
starting up in the Clear Lake City. Texas area. I was with ARCO for
three years then recruited by a large steel distribution and fabricating
company as the S/W Regional HR Manager based in Houston. We were with
this organization for over eleven years when I decided to start up my on
Executive Recruiting firm and I continue to work as a recruiter when I
c't go fishing. We moved from The Woodlands area to Port O'Connor,
Texas in 1998. My wife Linda and I have five children and nine grand
children who all love Port O'Connor so we get to see them often. We like
to think that they love us that much but I think fishing has a lot to do
with it.
