Today's Featured Biography
Yvonne Garcia Denbina
I am so grateful to be writing my biography! I am a ninth generation Texan and my children and grandchildren make 2 more generations in this state. David and I have been married 43 years. We have lived and worked in Houston, Arlington, Clear Lake and currently Spring, TX. My bachelor's degree in Fine Arts began at North Texas, continued at Rice University and culminated at University of Houston. Working in art, interior design, gallery curating and immigration law for Tindall & Foster, I have utilized my foreign language background in every job I have ever held. After utilizing both right and left brain operations in my career, I opened Garden of the Dragonfly Art Gallery in Old Town Spring in 2005. A few classmates have stopped in over the years to say hello, I am always thrilled to receive guests! Painting and all sorts of activity goes on there and 40 other artists in various mediums exhibit with me as well. The Gallery closed in 2016.
I was a Certified Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry Practitioner/ Instructor and a Certified Aromatherapist. In 2010 I was challenged to start a 501 c 3 through Bioethics Art and have worked with an international group of people discussing and promoting Bioethics through Art. Exhibitions have been in New York, Rome, Mexico City, Hong Kong and Houston. Currently, David and I are retired and promote a non profit to assist the island of Roatan, www.Rose.com.
David and I love to be with our family and friends and enjoy hiking, traveling and dancing. Our oldest grandson follows the family tradition in gymnastics. Looking forward to seeing you all!!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
