A "bio" is supposed to be a summary of your life, right? Well, okay...here goes. I got married at ages 18, 19, and 20; thus beginning the chain of events that led to my holding the coveted honor of "most marriages" at all reunions except the first one when Winona Green edged me out. I spent almost all of my working career in Dallas as an Executive Administrative Assistant (we used to call them secretaries, but when typewriters turned into computers, someone thought the title should be changed also). I even worked for Randy Overton's stepfather for three years at the JCPenney Regional Office (don't think I ever told Randy). In 1973, I found myself divorced for the third time with a baby girl (actually, it was only twice..one was annulled, but that is another story for another day). The next few years included a tryout (on a dare) for the Cowboy Cheerleaders in 1980. I made it all the way to the last cut when it became obvious all the other finalists were at least 3" shorter than me...I knew being 5'9" was not always a good thing. I also got married again for about 30 minutes in 1980...number 4. In 1977, I began doing runway modeling at the Dallas Apparel Mart during the women's markets and continued until I had another baby in 1984. I was about three pounds heavier than before, making me officially "too fat" to model. In 1982, I married for the fifth and last time...to a wonderful guy who has blessed my life. (Would you agree that he was a brave soul?) I know it's hard to believe, but I finally got it right. In 1993, I was in a car accident that probably should have killed me, but I was fortunate to have recovered completely. It certainly taught me to appreciate each day and I try not to take life for granted. I haven't worked since 1989 when my husband's career started moving us around the country. We have lived in eight states and will probably move from Ohio in about two years. (Do you need moving tips...I am an EXPERT!!) I now look in the mirror and see a middle aged woman looking back at me who has had an eventful life with enough bumps to make her grateful for the blessings. I have my health, two wonderful daughters, the two cutest little boys God ever created for grandsons and a terrific husband. The most recent "fun" thing I did was attend our 40th reunion. Those of you who didn't go missed a really great time and I want to thank Joe Chase and his crew for all their hard work.
