Today's Featured Biography
Kristin Yokum Cooper
Where has the time gone since High school, I really can't say? I met my husband of 36 years while attending Texas Tech University, and we got married in 1980. I worked at Texas Commerce Bank Houston until my first son was born in 1985. After that, I became a Homemaker, Baseball mom, Tennis mom, Dance and Cheer mom, and loved every minute of it. Of course, I continue to play tennis in my spare time, as well as traveling whenever I have the opportunity! When I am not traveling, I enjoy working at National Travel Systems, which is the Travel Company that my husband and I own.
I feel so blessed to have three smart, awesome kids whom I could not be more proud of. Christopher, my oldest (a Texas Tech Grad) is a Pharmacist in Dallas area. My youngest son is Richard (II). He graduated from Texas A&M in 2010, and lives in Mesa, Arizona. He works for J.P. Morgan Chase Bank. He says he loves AZ. and will never come back to Texas! In 1994, my sweet Daughter Kelsey, came along and made our family complete. While attending Texas A&M, Kelsey pledged Delta Gamma Sorority, (which is the same Sorority that I pledged at Texas Tech!) Kelsey is currently doing an Accounting Internship in Dallas, and is loving every minute of it. She will graduate from Texas A&M University in August of 2017!
