1974 Graduated North Texas State---BBA

1980 Married and moved to Odessa from
Amarillo.

1981-1993 Children; Two boys and one girl.

1996 Divorced and stuck in Odessa.

2003 Bought an oilfield pipe company and
stuck in Odessa.

2009 Peddling pipe & still stuck in
Odessa. I have plans to move back to
DFW area or Hill Country when last son
graduates from high school in two years.

The following is my Christmas letter to family and friends, which I think you will find amusing and informative.

`Merry Christmas and I hope you and your family are all happy, healthy and had a great year. All of my family and I had a very blessed year in 2008. None of our family was admitted to a psychiatric ward, thrown in jail, or appeared on any day-time television talk shows.., this year. Before the kids came into town for Christmas I followed the advice of my richest most successful relative and he sure was right, “It ain’t really home till you take the tires off.” The dogs, chickens and goats miss them, but the kids and I think home sure looks swell.
All the kids are doing great. Christina lives in Houston and teaches dance at a private school to little girls. She also teaches aerobics and is a personal trainer at some health clubs. She is still single and I think possessed by my mother’s spirit, which means World War III happens on a regular basis wherever she goes. The University of Houston’s campus police can testify to this as can many other poor souls. That red hair is no lie & VERY real, it means, “WARNING.., WARNING.., DANGER!!!” She is certainly “Daddy’s Girl” and I am proud of her. The Legend Lives!
Austin finally graduated from Cal Tech in Los Angeles with a degree in Video Media Arts and is working for Warner Brothers Studio as a production assistant. It amazes me they can get 60-80 hours of work out of him a week when if I made him carry out the trash he would report me to child protective services. He is still playing soccer as a goalie on the weekends with a bunch of guys whom he played with on Cal Tech’s team. Cal Tech won the NCAA Division II championship this year. They won it the year before Austin got there and they won it the year after he left. We try to cheer him up by telling him it’s a middle child thing, but it doesn’t seem to help. He lives in Manhattan Beach, is single, and living the good life. His likes to play golf with his grandfather who lives in Palos Verdes, so at least he has some family close by who are not totally dysfunctional.
Tyler is a sophomore at Permian High School this year and the family’s biggest disappointment. He hasn’t been expelled, thrown in jail, got drunk or beat anybody up in an alley. He has no tattoos nor does he posses any good looking scars. Hell, he doesn’t even carry a gun or big knife. He is nothing like his brother, sister or Dad and the legacy has been broken. He has made straight “A”s the last 3 years, takes advanced college level courses, plays the guitar, sings in the school choir and goes to church. We are all very concerned about him and have scheduled a visit to the Mayo Clinic to see if they can help with this strange anti-Anderson abnormal behavior.
My partner and I still own and operate our pipe business, Oilfield Materials Management. Business was good in 2008 but very demanding and challenging. As a result of too much work and not enough play I am at my all time high of fat-a-muss-maximus. My back surgery last year was a success & doing well. Thank God the democrats came into power in 2008. With a little “payola” you can get your entire families criminal records expunged, or become a United States Senator, which is a good thing. Another high point of 2008 for me was my brother’s marriage at the tender age of 78 this summer in St. Louis. He’s buried three wives and still going strong which inspires me. I’d be happy to bury just one wife.., whether she’s alive or dead. 2008 was not a good year for me romantically. My last ex-girlfriend, just released from the hospital for the permanently criminally insane, has been visiting us. Her thorzine drip I. V. is hardly noticeable and no trouble at all. However I think she got addicted to shock therapy because she keeps on sticking bobby pins in the electrical outlets with her teeth.
We hope all of ya’ll have a great holiday and a fantastic 2009. We are especially excited about 2009. With Obama-Osama- Hussein-Ben- Ali-Babba and the 40 thieves in the White House with Bill & Hillary, we can sure expect some changes. I am sure he will be an inspiration for us all, especially in 2012.
