Today's Featured Biography
Rodney Barnes
Life has been good. I'm a New Testament Christian (21 years now), as is my wife. I have two beautiful children, I get to attend bible class and worship services twice a week, and I enjoy my work (Network Engineer - Cabinet for Health and Health Services Web Master). I have good health, and will spend eternity with God some day when I die. It just doesn’t get any better than that.
I came to live in Frankfort KY by way of Franklin TN (11th Grade) and then Orlando FLA at age 19 for a year (out on my own), then Austin TX area for 16 years that began at age 21. I have seen a little of the great place we call America. Not enough though. I met and married my wife Anita in Austin at age 25. Anita is originally from Proctorville OH. Our daughter Chelsea and son Garrett came along 5 and 8 years later, respectively. I moved to Frankfort 5 years ago to get my children with in a close driving distance to all their grand parents, Aunts, uncles and cousins to help them have a since where they come from and a personal view of accountability to those who came before them. To know those who love them, that good things are expected from them and of them, that they might make the right decisions later in life during times of seemingly absent accountability. That is, that real "Character" would be the guiding force in their lives. I strive to teach my children to live well and love often that thy may have enjoyable lives while they are here and a real home in the hear after.
Along the way, I have obtained 2 associates degrees, Computer Information System - Local Area Network and Diagnostic Radiology, a corresponding federal Radiological Technologist certification, Cisco Networking academy certificate, Maintain CPR certification, CompTIA A+, and am currently working on my Network + cert. Shortly there after I will begin my MCSE.
My wife is an educator and has a Masters in Education and is currently working on her National Board certification – equivalent to a Doctorate degree.
I enjoy my family, Bible study, church, fishing, golf, walking, and yard work. I treat politics just like I treat bible study. That is I don’t know all the answers, but if I apply these four principles correctly, they seem to filter out all the muck. Be academically correct, intellectually honest, have an open mind and the desire to accept whatever conclusions are reached by an honest investigation of any issue. If it in the realm of bible study, add to those four the desire to obey Truth. I believe the God I serve expects faith to be based on objective evidences, as such, It is a rational and reasonable being in whose image we were created.
In closing, I can only wish for you all the benefits and joy I have existent in my life.
Rodney.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
