Sue Baggett Sargent

Do ya'll remember the senior trips Dupont used to take to Daytona Beach?? When Sue went to Daytona she fell in love with FL and said "I am going to live there someday." After graduating from Peabody Penny she moved to Brevard County to start her teaching careers. That lasted until Sue got married in 1966 to a man who had three children. When he lost his job in 1970 she went back to teaching, this time in Special Ed. She stayed at it until 1996 when she retired. In 1975 Sue went on a mission trip to Haiti and that started her love for international travel. After being divorced in 1975 she went on several short term missions. In the 90's Sue started volunteering (and was eventually an employee) for a non profit that did water purification systems in Haiti and she also went on several trips to other countries with her church. In 2001 Sue was no longer working with the water project and became involved in another non profit in Vero Beach, FL. The Women's Refuge is a Christian discipleship and counseling program that helps women deal with life's issues. In 2003 she became a staff member, In Jan. 2010 she chose to become a volunteer so she would have more freedom to travel. Soon Sue will be taking her 21st trip to Haiti
