Today's Featured Biography
Jason Welch
Upon graduation I joined the U.S. Army, and spent 3 years in that occupation. During that time I was in both Desert Shield and Desert Storm, as well as attendending Airborne School, and visiting a myriad of states, cities, and countries; such as Panama, Belgium, Japan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Great Britain.
After the Army I moved back to Eugene for a few years before deciding, on the spur of the moment, to move to Seattle. There, I found a career in professional Sales, and was transferred between Utah, Seattle, and Portland, finally settling in Vancouver, WA. During that time my wife and I had two children, and I returned to school and earned two Bachelor's degrees; one in English and the other in U.S. History, with a focus on Irish immigration to America.
During all of that, I had the opportunity to golf too often, gain and lose weight, study Kajukenbo Kung Fu, and enjoy life.
In June of 2009, I had a desire to return to the military, if only part time, and applied for Officer's Candidate School. I was accepted, however before entering the program an opportunity to become a full time National Guard recruiter arose and, after testing, interviewing, and passing security checks, I earned that position. The blend of sales, personal interaction, and wearing the uniform/serving my country makes this a truly enjoyable career for me.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
