Claude Monday
MONDAY Claude Edward Jr. Claude Edward Monday Jr., age 42, of Walbridge, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2006. Claude was relied on by many as a rock and will be remembered for his strength and unbiased generosity. His life revolved around his wife and children whom he would do anything for. He also leaves behind a host of God-Children that he mentored and guided. Animals were an important part of Claude's life and he especially loved his dogs. A master mechanic, his career began at K-Mart Automotive. Claude then became a manager at Midas, where he worked for 17 years. During that time he also owned and operated Dearborn Towing/C.J. Automotive for 7 years. Claude liked fast cars, motorcycles, fishing, and the outdoors. In his free time, he built cars which were often photographed for magazines. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 14 years, whom he married June 26th, 1992, Beverly Jean (Clemons) Monday; sons, Jason McKillip, Brett Hansen, and Claude E. Monday III, all of Walbridge; daughters, Mindy Monday, of Toledo, Mandy Monday, of Sylvania and Victoria Monday, of Walbridge; grandchildren, Serena and Skylar; father, Claude Edward Monday Sr.; mother, Geraldine (Dennis) Martin, who held a very special place in his heart; beloved grandmother, Virginia Bailey; sister, Terri Winters, of Florida; brothers, Edward (Belinda) Monday, of Hudson, MI, Daniel and Michael Todd Monday, of Toledo, and Alexander Scott, of Toledo; special friend and confidant, Reverend Ernie Jackson Sr. and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and irreplaceable friends. Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St., Sylvania, on Sunday, September 24th, 2006, from 2-9 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Monday at 1 p.m., Reverend Ernie Jackson Sr. officiating.
